Black Country Bob (brilliantly voiced by stand-up comic and my good friend & co-writer Sean Percival) is the ‘politically incorrect MP for Dudley’, and in this regular sketch broadcast on both BRMB & Heart, he attempts once again to hijack Prime Minister’s Questions to have a whinge or moan about somebody or something that’s got up his nose.
On this occasion, he attempts to come up with solutions to the pensions crisis that was in the newspapers at the time (2006) and, as usual in these sketches, he ends up making himself look stupid in front of Mr Blair and the whole House by putting his foot in it and showing up his lack of intelligence in such high-powered surroundings.
